  • No interim dividend. [declared in Q3 last year] (CFO had interesting comments on this).
  • Share price rose by 1.7 per cent this week to close the week at Sh38.20.
DTB Bank Group (DTB):
  • Announced HY25 results: profits rose 10.5 per cent to Sh5.4bn.
  • No interim dividends.
  • Share price rose by 7.7 per cent this week to close the week at Sh87.75.
Liberty Kenya Holdings (LBTY):
  • Announced HY25 results: profits dropped 59 per cent to Sh260M.
  • No interim dividend.
  • Share price fell 2.6 per cent to close the week at Sh11.05.
Kakuzi (KUKZ):
  • Announced HY25 results: profits fell 14.9 per cent to Sh295.5M.
  • No interim dividend
  • Share price rose 2.4 per cent to close the week at Sh381.
Sanlam Kenya (SLAM):
  • Announced HY25 results: profits fell 89 per cent to Sh30.9M.
  • No interim dividend.
  • Share price fell by 7 per cent this week to close the week at Sh7.72.
Other counters:
  • KCB Group begin talks to acquire 40 per cent of an Ethiopian bank.
  • NSE share price rally continued this week with the counter rising 46.5 per cent to close the week at Sh15.75.
  • Safaricom launched a new time-based data bundle option targeting heavy internet users.
  • Umeme announced retirement of their directors.
  • Stanbic Bank promoted Joshua Oigara to Regional Chief Executive, East Africa and he will also continue as Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank Kenya.
